Pressure System Safety Regulations 2000 (SI 128)

Pipeline Safety Regulations 1996

Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998

Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998

Work at Height Regulations 2004

Risk Based Inspection (RBI)

Many of our customers employ an RBI strategy to determine the inspection requirements for their assets. There are many variations on RBI and rak have had experience working with detailed Quantitative RBI processes and more high-level Qualitative approaches. All our rak inspection engineers understand and operate to these methodologies and are able to provide inspection input to these processes for our clients when required. We also ensure that any RBI's supported by rak produce focussed and effective schemes of examination, rather than unnecessarily complicated inspection regimes that are difficult to deliver in practice.

For companies thinking about adopting an RBI approach, rak Inspection Services is also able to offer consultancy support in the implementation of suitable strategies, consistent with API 580/581, and incorporating any client specific requirements.
